Ahli star Mohamed Barakat will not be available for selection before two weeks after breaking his arm last month, the club said on their website. The 34-year-old suffered the injury accidentally ahead of the Champions League game with Wydad Casablanca, forcing him to miss Ahli's start in the group stage. Even though the Reds initially said he will be out for a month, it now seems that Barakat will miss out for a further fortnight. The news means that the midfield veteran will definitely sit out Ahli's visit to MC Alger next Sunday as well the Egyptian Cup tie with third-tier Chema Aswan on September 6.
