Egypt U-20 manager Diaa Al-Sayed praised his team's performance despite bowing out of the World Cup round of the 16 at the hands of Argentina. The young Pharaohs lost 2-1 to the six-time champions after conceding two penalties, but had the home fans by their side in Medellin. “If you see how the fans were behind us today then you see that my players played successful football here,” Al-Sayed said after the game. “I always tell my players, that they should enjoy the games. The fans have to be satisfied. In football, you win sometimes and you lose sometimes. “But you have to show good football. I think that our games and our good performances will stay in the memories of the people here in Colombia.” Egypt's defeat to Argentina is their fourth against the South American giants in the history of the tournament.
