Ismaili midfielder Abdullah Al-Shahat has revealed interest from Zamalek to sign him this summer. The 26-year-old international can play either a holding midfielder or left-back and his contract with Ismaili runs at the end of next season. "I received a call from a Zamalek official, who wanted to know whether I am interested to join them or not," Al-Shahat told FilGoal.com. "Ismaili haven't offered me a new contract and I will be able to sign for any club as a free agent in January." Zamalek said they will heavily invest in the transfer market, after they lost the Egyptian League title despite leading the table for 16 weeks.
