Ahli boss Manuel Jose refused to make a comment over the behavior of his Zamalek counterpart Hossam Hassan during Wednesday's derby thriller, the Reds' website stated. While celebrating his side's second equalizer, Jose was surprised to find Hassan nearby grabbing him by the arm to protest over the late strike by Dominique da Silva. The Zamalek manager was furious that Ahli didn't halt play when two players from his side were down, even though referee Kevin Blom waved play on. Ahli's website said that Jose prefers not to comment, quoting the Portuguese as saying that he ‘doesn't care what the Zamalek coach says as he only focuses on Ahli and that his side became one step closer to the title after the draw'. Apart from his post-goal rant, Hassan made a series of controversial comments to different media sources after the game. The former Ahli star said that the second goal is a ‘black spot in the club's history', as well as criticizing Jose's ‘unorganized' line-up. However, he conceded on Modern Sport TV that he went to blame Jose with ‘good will'. The goal and the incident
