Former AC Milan and Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko revealed that he will retire after EURO 2012. "The decision is final and won't be reviewed," the Ukrainian veteran told daily Sport-Express. Ukraine will co-host the quadrennial competition with Poland. Shevchenko, who returned to his homeland side Dynamo Kiev last season, won the Champions League with Milan in 2003 after scoring the winning penalty in the shootout against Juventus in the final. A year later, the 34-year-old became the third Ukrainian to be named the European Footballer of the Year. His compatriots Oleg Blokhin and Igor Belanov had previously scooped the same accolade. Shevchenko's career has taken a turn for the worse since joining Chelsea in 2006.
