Ahli summer signing Gamal Hamza has rescinded his contract with the Egyptian champions by mutual consent. Ahli said on Thursday that the 28-year-old striker, who didn't play a single game, requested to leave and a mutual rescission of his contract has been agreed. "I notified the management that my exclusion from the Champions League list is unacceptable," Hamza told FilGoal.com from Germany. "I was surprised with the decision not to include me and therefore I decided I want to leave." Hamza joined Ahli from Gouna, where he spent six months after terminating his contract with Bundesliga side Mainz last year. The ex-Zamalek star knew he had to fight for his place after Ahli recently signed Ittihad forward Geddo, who joined Francis Doe, Mohamed Fadl and Osama Hosni in the strikers' department.
