Inter Milan skipper Javier Zanetti believes that the ongoing Serie A title race will go right down to the wire. The Nerazzurri regained their place on top of the league table after their bitter rivals AS Roma surrendered the summit upon losing 2-1 at home to Sampdoria on Sunday. With Inter and Roma having three matches to go, Zanetti is convinced that the competition for the Scudetto will last to the very last day. "The championship will be decided on the last day of the season," the 36-year-old said. "It will be tight until the end." The Argentine veteran spoke of Inter's UEFA Champions League chances after seizing an advantage over Barcelona in semi-finals. The Italian titans registered a 3-1 win over the defending champion at San Siro last week, but Zanetti is convinced that the two-legged tie is still hanging in the balance. Battle "It will be a battle because we are facing the strongest team in the world," the in-form defender stated. "It will take a great performance. We must play our game to get to the final. "It will be a different match from last November's in the group stages. We mustn't get anything wrong."
