Ittihad of Libya coach Miodrag Jesic wishes his team could face Egyptian champions Ahli in an advanced stage of the CAF Champions League. Both teams clash with each other in Libya on Friday in the continental competition's round of 16. Jesic believes it would be more exciting if the pair kept competing for the title till the end of the tournament. "I was hoping that our meeting with Ahli would be in the semi-final round, or even the final," the Serbian tactician told Libyan paper Al-Gamahiria. "Ahli are a powerful side, and so are we. The disqualification of either team would be a huge loss." Ahli won the Champions League title six times while Ittihad have never claimed it. No Fear Jesic assured that he's not afraid of the Red Devils, who are tipped to book a ticket to the next round. "Ahli are a prominent team in the Arab world and Africa as well, but we have no fear," he said. "We have confidence in our capabilities and deeply believe in the talents we have at our disposal. "We always play with the same style regardless of our opponents. "I know our opposition in the upcoming game and I'm not scared. We are preparing for the game exactly like we do for any other match."
