African Cup of Nations top scorer Geddo is uncomfortable with the media hype surrounding him after returning from Angola. Geddo was sought to be a squad player with the defending champions, but he scored five goals off the bench to take Africa by surprise. Now, he can't adapt to his new status as a national hero. "I started to hate being a star," Geddo told FilGoal.com following his Ittihad Alexandria's 1-0 victory over Petrojet in the Egyptian League on Sunday. "I can't walk in the streets or do my normal activities. Wherever I go, people surround me in numbers and I am not used to that," the 25-year-old added. Geddo added to the hype by denying reports that he signed for Cairo giants Zamalek before the club revealed that he had already put pen to paper before the Angola trip. He started for his side against Petrojet but was substituted in the 67th minute.
