Bundesliga side Hannover have landed in-from striker Arouna Kone from Sevilla on loan till the end of the current season. Hannover, who were considered to be a surprise package last season, are now languishing in the relegation mire. Head coach Mirko Slomka, who has newly taken the helm at AWD Arena, was keen to shore up his team's frontline with new arrivals. Ivorian hitman Kone joined Sevilla in the summer of 2007 but couldn't secure a regular berth at the Spanish side. The 26-year-old became the third Ivory Coast player within Hannover's ranks, with his compatriots Didier Ya Konan and Constant Djakpa plying their trade at the German club.
