Borussia Dortmund consider recalling Egypt striker Mohamed Zidan from the African Cup of Nations, in the wake of the unrest overshadowing the tournament. A deadly attack on the Togo-team bus on Friday sparked disorder in Angola, raising doubts over security measures in the war-ridden nation. "Zidan's safety is of paramount importance," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc was quoted by Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper. "We first need to hear the player's opinion about the situation there." Zidan is considered as a key player in Hassan Shehata's roster, with the absence of influential frontmen Mohamed Abou-Treika and Amr Zaki.
