Geddo surprised by Egypt call-up

Ittihad's Mohamed Nagi 'Geddo' was surprised to find his name in Egypt's provisional squad for the African Cup of Nations as he looks forward to a successful international career.
"I wasn't expecting a call-up from the national team; no one has spoken to me before today," Geddo told FilGoal.com on Tuesday.
"I learnt from the internet that my name is on the list!
"I am determined to prove my worth to the Egypt management and I hope to be an important player for the team."
The 26-year-old forward has been in consistent form Ittihad so far this term, scoring four goals for Carlos Cabral's team.
