Zamalek keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed will be fit to take part in Saturday's Egyptian Premier League game at Masri despite sustaining a knee injury in Tuesday's Cairo derby. The Cairo club were boosted by the news that Al-Sayed's injury is not as bad as first feared. The veteran goalie put in a superb display as Zamalek and Ahli played out a goalless draw but he limped in the latter stages after hurting his knee when he chased the ball outside of his box. His deputy Mohamed Abdul-Monsef warmed up immediately but Al-Sayed remained on the pitch until the final whistle. Central defender Amr Al-Safti, who was substituted in the first half with a back complaint, is doubtful for the Masri tie. The tough-tackling player underwent scans to determine the full extent of the injury. Zamalek, who eye resurgence under new coach Hossam Hassan, are just one point above the relegation zone after 12 league games.
