Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien is set to miss Premier League action at the weekend after sustaining a hamstring injury in Tuesday's Champions League draw with APOEL. "Michael has a problem with his leg. We will look at him over the next few days and check on him," said Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti after the 2-2 draw. "We hope it's not a big problem. I think he will not be able to play on Saturday." Essien limped off a few minutes after hitting a superb equalizer for Chelsea, who host Premiership strugglers Everton on Saturday. Despite the disappointing draw, Ancelotti's men have comfortably reached the knockout stage as Group D winners.
