Mohamed Barakat is the latest to join Ahli's casualty list as the Egypt midfielder will sit out Thursday's league game at Ittihad with a hamstring injury. The Red Devils said that the 32-year-old midfielder sustained the injury in Wednesday's training session, forcing Hossam Al-Badri to exclude him. Ahli have been hit with various injuries to some key players lately, including Mohamed Abou-Treika, Moataz Eno and Emad Meteb. Defender Wael Gomaa will also miss the Alexandria trip through suspension as youngster Mohamed Samir was recalled as backup. Out-of-favor Qatari Hussein Yasser has been included in the squad, whereas Hani Al-Egeizi has returned after a hernia problem, replacing Mohamed Talaat. Egypt U-20 midfielder Shehab Ahmed has also been included for the first time this season.
