Mohamed Barakat will be available for Ahli's Egyptian Premier League game against Masri on Wednesday, the player said. The mercurial midfielder was passed fit to take part in Ahli's clash at Gaish on Friday after recovering from a pelvic injury. He was initially included in the Red Devils' squad for the match but had to pull out few hours before kick-off due to a sore throat. "I'm feeling a lot better now. I will take part in Monday's training session and should be fit to play against Masri," Barakat said on Ahli's official website. The 32-year-old's versatility gives Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri plenty of options. He is a natural attacking midfielder but can also play as a central midfielder and as right-back. Barakat, who presented a comic show during the month of Ramadan, has been an integral member of Ahli's squad since joining from Qatar's Arabi in the summer of 2004.
