Initial medical examinations indicated that Ahli midfielder Moataz Eno had suffered cruciate ligament damage, while striker Emad Meteb sustained a hamstring injury. Eno was taken off late in the first half of the Cairo giants' 1-0 win at Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday. On the other hand, Meteb was replaced in the break after he felt an acute pain in his hamstring, according the Red Devils' medical staff. Both players are now doubtful for the Cairo derby with Zamalek on December 8th. After he seemed to be close to recovering from a pelvic injury, Hani Al-Egeizi was sidelined again with the same problem. Influential midfield duo Mohamed Abou-Treika and Mohamed Barakat are also injured.
