Ismaili board member and former striker Mohamed Salah Abou-Greisha handed in his resignation to begin a coaching career. "We are trying to convince him to change his mind but he refuses," fellow board member Khaled Al-Tayeb told FilGoal.com on Friday. Abou-Greisha, a member of an infamous Ismailia family which also includes striker Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha, retired from professional football in 2007. The 39-year-old, who started his career with Ismaili in the late 1980s, spent fruitful years with the coastal club, winning with them two Egyptian Premier League and two Cup titles. He could now follow in the footsteps of Egypt great Hossam Hassan, who managed Masri and Telecom Egypt after his retirement. "We will accept Abou-Greisha's resignation if he had already made up his mind," Ismaili chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan said.
