Ismaili have released veteran striker Mohamed Salah Abou-Greisha following his outspoken criticism of the club, a decision that put an end to the player's 18-year association with Dervishes. "Abou-Greisha is free to join any club he wants," Ismaili president Yehia Al-Koumi told reporters on Monday. Earlier on Saturday, Abou-Greisha held a press conference in which he revealed that he was mistreated by the club's officials this season. "Ismaili board isn't capable of forcing me to retire, I will look for a club to play for whether abroad or inside Egypt even if it is a second division side," The 37-year-old told FilGoal.com on Monday. Abou-Greisha started his career with Ismaili in the late 1980s and won with the club two Egyptian League titles as well as two cup trophies. The former Egypt international had a short spell with Kuwaiti side Al-Tadamon before retuning back to Ismaili in 2005.
