Ahli striker Hani Al-Egeizi has felt a bit down since squandering a host of clear-cut opportunities in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Ismaili. The Red Devils said on their official website that the 24-year-old shed tears when he was replaced with Mohamed Fadl in the second half of the league game. On his way to the dugout, Al-Egeizi was given a standing ovation by Ahli's fans despite his disappointing performance, but that wasn't enough to lift his spirits. "I sat down with Al-Egeizi after the game to help him get his act together," Ahli's football director Hadi Kashaba said. "He exerted huge efforts during the game but he was just unlucky. Any player could face such a situation." Al-Egeizi joined Ahli from Baladeya in the summer of 2008, and is yet to establish himself as a regular starter.
