Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been hit with a three-match ban by the English FA for stamping on Arsenal's Robin van Persie. The Togolese has been charged with violent conduct after he caught his former strike partner in the face during last weekend's 4-2 victory. Ade will miss Sunday's derby at Manchester United, the Carling Cup tie with Fulham and a home league game with West Ham. City's top scorer is also facing another charge by the FA for celebrating his goal in front of Arsenal supporters at the City of Manchester Stadium. Watch Adebayor's stamp
