Schalke go third in Germany

Schalke grabbed a precious 2-1 victory at Koln to jump to third place in the Bundesliga table.
Jefferson Farfan and Levan Kobiashvili scored for the visitors, whereas Germany forward Lukas Podolski was on target for Koln.
Schalke reached ten points, only three less than joint-leaders Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen. Koln are rock bottom with a single point.
Earlier on Sunday, Werder Bremen played out a goalless home draw with Hannover to move sixth on eight points.
