France winger Franck Ribery could miss the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Serbia due to injury. The Bayern Munich ace suffered a calf knock in Les Bleus' 1-1 home draw with Romania in the qualifying stage on Saturday. His teammate Julien Escude picked up a similar injury. "We don't know whether they will be able to play on Wednesday," France coach Raymond Domenech said. "We shall see, we generally wait a day after a match to take an overall analysis." France lie second in Group 7 of the European qualifiers on 14 points, with three matches to go. Ribery, who has recently returned to action after overcoming an adductor problem, could also be ruled out of Bayern's upcoming Bundesliga game with Borussia Dortmund.
