Former Ittihad chairman Shalabi dies

Former Ittihad chairman Kamal Shalabi passed away on Monday, at the age of 86.
Shalabi, who had two distinct spells with the Alexandrian giants, was regarded a prominent sports figure in the coastal governorate.
He stepped down from his position as Ittihad chairman in November 2007 due to health problems.
Mohamed Moselhi has been in charge of Ittihad during the past two years and is widely expected to win the presidential elections this month.
