The FIFA Confederations Cup has come to an end as Brazil clinched a record third title in South Africa.
FilGoal.com wraps up a compilation of the top quotes from the big event, which witnessed a number of upsets during June.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you Parker, you should stay in our goal all day!" the Arab commentator had every right to be pleased with Bernard Parker after his infamous 'clearance'.
"We're not contesting the referee's (penalty) decision but the way it was made. Or maybe the rules have changed and nobody has told us," Egypt assistant coach Shawki Gharib after the Brazil game.
"I was chatting with a couple of my teammates before the game and I told them I'm good in the air, they laughed me off and it turned into a joke!" Hommos has proved he is good in the air.
"Physically, they're a talented team. They're athletic. They work very hard and there's no tactical magic to make up for that," US coach Bob Bradley BEFORE the 3-0 win over Egypt.
"I had to get five stitches in my head, but that injury doesn't hurt nearly as much as losing this match. I am gutted, we all are," Essam Al-Hadari after the USA drubbing.
"I told the players that playing against Brazil is totally different from facing Italy. I told them Brazil are a Latin team, but Italy are a European team who play tough," Hassan Shehata explains why Egypt excelled in their first two games.
"I am very, very happy; I will celebrate this result for a long time," Iraq boss Bora Milutinovic was delighted after the Spain defeat.

Hommos is good in the air
"I congratulate my team for their performance and efforts. They really gave it their all," Bora is happy again, this time after failing to beat New Zealand.
"Tonight was another milestone for our country. The team were magnificent and we've proved the doubters wrong," New Zealand boss Ricki Herbert after gaining his nation's first point.
"Our performance today was not so good, but we qualified. I am very happy today, happy for the country and happy for the players," said South Africa coach Joel Santana…everyone in Group A was happy in the final day !
"Today it's enough for a defender to be a tall good looking blond who dribbles and thinks he can play." Italy veteran Fabio Cannavaro is not impressed by modern-day defenders.
"The mummy joke was not a very good one, it was too easy. But being called mummies doesn't affect us at all. We are just thinking about doing well and be careful, because sometimes mummies lose their bandages." Marcello Lippi urges his Italy team to lose their bandages.
"We had the opportunity to see some of their (Brazil's) game against Egypt and I have to be honest, it looks like they're human after all," USA captain Landon Donovan before the 3-0 defeat to the human Brazil.
"No one out of the 80million Egyptians thought Hommos will start against Italy, and if anyone claimed he knew, then the news was leaked out of our camp," Shawki Gharib !
"The vuvuzelas are an annoyance and add nothing to the atmosphere, they should be banned," Spain's Xabi Alonso annoyed by the vuvuzela.
"Vuvuzelas, drums and singing are part of African football culture. It is part of their celebration, it is part of their culture and let them blow it," FIFA chief Sepp Blatter likes the vuvuzela.
