Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola believes that his side's heroics on all fronts will be to no avail if the Catalans fail to secure a title this season. The Spanish giants have so far qualified for the Copa del Rey final and the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, in addition to their splendid domestic campaign. Guardiola sounded his satisfaction over his team's level this term, but assured in the same breath that trophies are what really matter. "It is good fortune that we are in such a position and what we have left is brilliant," the former Barca midfielder was quoted by Sport as saying. "When you see everything is so close, there is no exhaustion...We have to win a title, otherwise it will have been for nothing." Barcelona, who are six points clear at the top of the Primera liga table, will take on Valladolid this weekend, in the wake of their key players' return from international duties. However, Guardiola shrugged off fatigue concerns ahead of the upcoming game. "We have drawn or lost some matches after international games, but what is important is to recover our good form as soon as possible," he said.
