Emad Meteb's Ittihad Jeddah crushed Najran 4-1 in the Saudi league to preserve their supremacy on top of the table. The Egyptian striker played full 90 minutes but did not score for Itti, who were helped by goals from Talal Al-Meshaal, Renato, Hicham Boucherrouane and Abdul-Aziz Al-Sebiani. Ittihad are on 49 points on top of the table, leading Hilal by two after the latter won 1-0 at Wehda. Elsewhere, Hossam Ghaly's Nasr lost 1-0 to strugglers Hazm to remain in fifth position with 30 points. Finally, Ahli Jeddah, where plays Walid Soliman, were held to a goalless draw at Ettifaq. On-loan Petrojet playmaker Soliman played the whole game but couldn't score his first goal for the Greens.
