Real Madrid advance in Primera Liga race

Real Madrid moved to second place in the Primera Liga table after condemning Real Mallorca to a 3-0 loss on Sunday at ONO Estadi.
The defending champions came on with all guns blazing, as Arjen Robben fired the visitors upfront three minutes after the kick-off.
Raul hit the second three minutes after the quarter hour mark to help Real tighten their grip on the match.
In the second half, Sergio Ramos struck the out-of-sorts home side for a third time.
Now Real lie second with 35 points, 12 adrift of leaders Barcelona, who beat Osasuna 3-2 later on the same day.
Throughout the game, many players from either side were yellow-carded.
