Zamalek's versatile midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after scans showed that he tore a groin muscle. It was initially thought that Ibrahim would be out of action for three weeks, thus missing Zamalek's Champions League clash against arch-rivals Ahli on September 14th. But after undergoing further scans, Ibrahim found out that he might be sidelined for a lengthier spell. “I will follow all the instructions of Zamalek doctors because I want to be back sooner than expected,” Ibrahim told FilGoal.com on Thursday. Ibrahim, who came through Zamalek's youth ranks, has established himself as a regular first-team member under coach Reiner Hollmann. He played as a midfielder, playmaker and a right-back this season.
