Oddo joins Bayern Munich on season-long loan

Bayern Munich have confirmed that AC Milan's defender Massimo Oddo has been hired for the coming season on a season-long loan deal with an option to sign him permanently.
The club's official website said that 32-year-old defender passed the medicals on Thursday and that he is set to make his debut very soon.
“We've had our eyes on Massimo Oddo for some time. He is a player who can operate anywhere on the right flank. His experience, his tactical nous and his technical ability will give us a real boost in quality,“ Bayern's Jurgen Klinsmann said.
The Bavarian side has been looking to strenghten their backline after the departure of Marcell Jansen and the injuries of Willy Sagnol and Hamit Altintop.
The German Champions have now two World Cup winners as Oddo joined his compatriot Luca Toni who made a huge impact in the Bundesliga last season.
