Ahmed Fathi is set to return to Egypt to join Ahli's training after completing his rehabilitation, following an Achilles tendon rupture in Portugal. Ahli confirmed that the international midfielder would be back by the end of August and will be able to resume trainings with his teammates. However he won't return to action immediately. The 24-year old midfielder was injured last April in a league game at Baladeya, and has been ruled for six months. Meanwhile, assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri revealed that the team will play a warm-up game against Saudi side Al-Ettifaq on August 25 ahead of their CAF Champions League encounter against Dynamos Harare. The Red Devils beat the Zimbabwean Champions 2-1 on Sunday and they will travel to face them on August 29th in the return leg.
