Masri chairman Sayed Metwalli launched a stinging attack on Ahli fans following the crowd troubles that marred his side's 2-0 home victory over the Red Devils. Ahli supporters pelted the pitch with stones, bottles and fireworks in the final stages of the game. They also threw stones at a bus carrying members of Masri team, few minutes before the match's kick-off. “Did Ahli fans come to Port Said to assault us?” Metwalli told Al-Hayat channel after the game. “The actions of Ahli fans were immoral and disgusting. Two of Masri players were injured as a result of those actions. “We could have easily replied, but we do not harm any fellow Egyptians. We only come down hard on Egypt's enemies.”
