Emad Meteb's agent has rubbished reports claiming that the Ahli striker is on his way to Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah. "We are speaking about European offers only and a move to Ittihad Jeddah is out of consideration," Nader Shawki told FilGoal.com. Reports in the Saudi press have confirmed over the past few days that the Ahli marksman is on the verge of completing a move to Ittihad. 'Asharqalawsat' suggested that Meteb is likely to join the Saudi giants for a season-long loan worth EGP6 million. 'Madina' said that the 24-year old player turned down Bristol City offer to join Ittihad Jeddah and that the deal should be sealed in the next few hours. "We have an offer from Bristol City and another from Ittihad Jeddah. Meteb wants to play in Europe. "We are expecting offers from Holland and Spain in the next few days. There is no rush and the player will choose what's best for him," added Shawki. Bristol City tabled a £1.5-bid a few days ago and they are waiting for an answer. Meteb's contract runs until June 2009 and he refuses to ink a new deal.
