Ittihad plan Meteb bid

Saudi champions Ittihad Jeddah will be launching a bid to secure Emad Meteb's services on permanent bases, the player's agent confirmed on Thursday.
The Egyptian striker is on loan at Ittihad from Ahli, and the Saudi officials are hoping to make the move permanent after Meteb scored three goals for Ittihad so far.
Ittihad president Mansour Al-Balawi will arrive in Cairo after the Enyimba clash to negotiate with Ahli over the possibility of keeping Meteb at Ittihad after his loan deal expires.
The player's agent Nader Shawky told FilGoal.com that Ahli coach Manuel Jose has initially agreed to let Meteb join Ittihad.
The agent added that Meteb would welcome the permanent move to Ittihad as it is one step closer to playing in Europe.
