Hossam Ghaly's Derby County received a 6-2 thrashing defeat to Arsenal, courtesy of a second-half hat-trick from Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togolese forward grabbed his second treble against the Premiership minnows this season, taking his tally to 24 goals. Nicklas Bendtner, Robin Van Persie and Theo Walcott were also on target, as James McEveley and Robert Earnshaw scored for the Rams. Even though Ghaly started the game, but the Egyptian missed most of the show as he was substituted on the hour mark, when the Gunners were just 2-1 up. Arsenal, who virtually have no hopes of winning the title, reached 77 points in third place, while the relegated Derby remain bottom with 11.
