Ahli have reaffirmed that Amir Abdul-Hamid's injury is 'not serious' after the Reds goalkeeper pulled a hamstring during the 3-1 win at Petrojet. Ahli doctor Al-Shahhat Mahmoud told the club's official site that Abdul-Hamid is currently nursing the injury, but should return to full training soon. The 28-year-old goalie, who recently allayed fears over his injury, should be fit then to face Ismaili in the Egyptian League next Thursday. Abdul-Hamid has taken over as Ahli's number one from Essam Al-Hadari, following the latter's controversial departure to Switzerland's FC Sion. Meanwhile, center-half Rami Adel is on his way to recover from a thigh injury and is due to resume full training in one week.
