Zamalek resume their Egyptian Cup chase on Tuesday when they play Harras Al-Hodoud in the semi-finals. The whites lost 2-0 to Ahli in the Cairo derby last week as they continued their miserable run in the league. With 20 matches played, Zamalek lost six and held four times, including a 1-1 draw with Al-Hodoud in Alexandria. Abdul-Halim Ali, who scored for Zamalek against Al-Hodoud in the league, was dropped from the Cup tie, alongside Karim Zekri, Khaled Saad and Alaa Abdul-Ghani. Mohamed Abdullah and Ahmed Abdul-Raouf will also miss the game through suspension. Goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed is back in the 18-man squad after recovering from a groin injury. Zamalek enjoyed a smooth road to the semis and are favorites to win the title with all the big guns bowing out respectively. Title holders Ahli were ousted by Asyut Petroleum in the round of 32 and then Ismaili, Al-Gaish and Petrojet were all sent packing. If they beat Al-Hodoud, Zamalek will face either ENPPI or Arab Contractors in the final. Media reports said that manager Ruud Krol will be fired if Zamalek failed to defeat Al-Hodoud. Probable line-up: Goalkeeper: Mohamed Abdul-Monsef. Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah, Beshir Al-Tabie, Amr Al-Safti. Midfielders: Ahmed Ghanem, Mohamed Ibrahim, Mohamed Aboul-Ella, Tarek Al-Sayed, Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq 'Shikabala'. Strikers: Amr Zaki, Mostafa Gaafar.
