Abou-Mosallam's Rapid move under threat

Ahmed Abou-Mosallam's loan move from Strasbourg to Romania's Rapid Bucharest is on the verge of falling through after the two clubs failed to agree terms.
"Rapid agreed to bear my wages in full until the end of the season, but a disagreement occurred regarding a permanent move," Abou-Mosallam told FilGoal.com
"Strasbourg demanded $250,000, in addition to 20% of the next sale, but Rapid rejected.
"It seems I have to spend the season in France."
Abou-Mosallam struggled to keep a place in Strasbourg's starting eleven after the departure of Jean-Pierre Papin last season.
The Egyptian also couldn't seal a move to Crystal Palace in January after failing to get a work permit in the UK.
