Valencia manager Ronald Koeman has punished defender Miguel for lack of discipline after being involved in a fight at a night club. The Dutchman was quoted saying on Spanish newspaper AS Marca that he "will be used as an example to others". Miguel was celebrating the birthday of Manuel Fernandes before things blew wide and also did not attend for a mandatory physiotherapy session. Fernandes spent the night in the police station as he was accused of stealing a watch. The club bosses did not announce the sanctions on Miguel but Koeman will be strict enough as he wants to bring back order in the team. Miguel revealed last year that he is used to party and smoke every Thursday since he was sixteen and that was accepted by the previous coaches as long as he performed on the pitch.
