Zamalek have reached an agreement with Turkish side Konyaspor to sign right-back Mohamed Abdullah in January, the Cairo club announced on their website. The men in white are waiting for the player's International Transfer Certificate to arrive within the coming few days. Zamalek have been desperate to bring in reinforcements in the right-back position as duo Ahmed Ghanem and Ahmed Hossam failed to establish themselves. After an unsuccessful spell with Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli, Abdullah moved to Konyaspor last January in a swap deal that saw Ahmed Belal moving the other direction.
