Bayer Leverkusen secured their fifth successive victory in the Bundesliga after crushing Hansa Rostock 3-0 at home on Sunday. Simon Rolfes put the hosts in front as early as the fourth minute after being set-up by Karim Haggui's header. Paul Freier doubled the lead ten minutes after restart from the penalty spot. Theofanis Gekas wrapped up the win in the 72nd minute. The result put Leverkusen in fourth place of the league table with 30 points, five adrift of leaders Bayern Munich. Rostock lie third from bottom on 14 points. Elsewhere, Nuremberg eased their relegation fears with a 2-1 home victory over Hertha Berlin. Greek striker Angelos Charisteas opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Zvjezdan Misimovic added the second six minutes before the interval. Fabian Lustenberger pulled one back five minutes past the hour mark but Hertha couldn't build up on his goal.
