Ahli have announced a 19-man squad for the CAF Champions League first-leg final against Etoile Sahel on Saturday, excluding Angola full-back Sebastiao Gilberto from the list. Gilberto is ruled out of the match, which will be played in Sousse, Tunisia, due to a recurring Achilles problem that he picked up in 2006. Ahli fear the worst for their number one left-back, who previously faced 16 months on the sidelines with the same Achilles injury. On the other hand, striker Ahmed Belal forced his way into the match squad after recovering from a fractured foot , which kept him out of action since June. Belal's surprise inclusion comes at the expense of new signing Reda Al-Weeshi, who is yet make his full debut for the African champions.
