Ittihad Libya advanced to round 16 of the Arab Champions League after beating Ahli Sanaa, 4-1 on Monday, in Tripoli. Ahmed Al-Mosli and Cobadja Coulibaly hit a brace each for the hosts while Ali Nunu scored Ahli Sanaa's consolation goal. The Libyan giants got through with a 4-1 aggregate as the first leg ended in a scoreless draw. The win comes as a big boost ahead of their CAF Champions League semi-final second leg clash against African Champions Ahli next Sunday in Cairo. Tunisian outfit Club Bizertin created the shock of the day after eliminating favorites Al-Shabab. The Tunisians were able to cancel their first leg defeat 2-1 and register a 2-1 win in Riyadh. They knocked the hosts on penalties 4-3. Ittihad of Libya become the 11th team to book their place in the last 16 after Gaish (Egypt), Nagaf (Iraq), Merrikh (Sudan), Raja (Morocco), Al-Wehda (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wehdat (Jordan), Al-Magd (Syria), ES Setif (Algeria), Al-Arabi (Kuwait) and Club Bizertin (Tunisia).
