Bayern Munich's doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt played down all the claims by Italy manager Roberto Donadoni that he underestimated the injury of Italian striker Luca Toni. "We were not allowed to treat him, so I am not aware of any responsibility. The facts have been twisted," Dr Muller-Wohlfahrt told Kicker magazine. The 30-year-old striker was ruled out of France and Ukraine matches in the Euro 2008 qualifiers and Donadoni blamed the Bavarians for that. "If we had been able to do it (treat him), then we would have been further in his progress." Doctor Muller-Wohlfahrt confirmed that Toni is improving but he cannot predict when he'll be back to action.
