Aguero dominated the competition's individual awards, as the Atletico Madrid playmaker clinched the Golden Boot award as top scorer with six goals, and he was also voted player of the tournament. The Argentina youth team's exploit makes up for the disappointing failure of the senior team against Brazil in the Copa America final a week ago. The victory adds a sixth U-20 World Cup trophy to the records of the South American giants.
