Masri board decided to sell a number of players before next season, including defense duo Mohamed Al-Etrawi and Ayman Ramadan. Al-Etrawi will join Petrojet for EGP 150,000, Ramadan will be heading to Ittihad for a fee of EGP 100,000, while midfielder Mohamed Salah will join relegated side Olympic for EGP 50,000. Midfielder Gamal Gad will also be shown the door by the Port-Saied based club after he has joined coach Helmi Toulan's out of favor list of fringe players. The Masri new coach requested the departure of several players after he took charge; the list includes Amr Moussa, Ahmed Roshdi, Ali Gomaa, Mohamed Aboul-Magd, Basem Wagdi, Sherif Wasfi, Iboon Massenga and Cherno Mansare. On the other hand, the Masri board appointed Hossam Ghoweiba as the director of the club's youth academy, making a major reshuffle to the youth coaching staff. The board accepted Ghoweiba's suggestion to support the youth academy funding with the help of nine Port-Saied based business men. "It is important to back the youth system in the club, and I appreciate the board's acknowledgement to my suggestion," Ghoweiba told FilGoal.com on Tuesday.
