Hilal coach Ricardo Heron said on Sunday that Ahli will definitely finish atop of Group B in the CAF Champions League and that the second spot will be up to competition. The Brazilian boss was recently quoted as saying that Ahli are not unbeatable and that his side can grab a win over the five-time African champions in Cairo. However, just hours before their clash, Ricardo said he believes Ahli will find no difficulty in finishing on top of the group. "Ahli are a powerful team, they are the best in our group. It's considered a back luck to have been drawn with them," Ricardo was quoted as saying by Sudanese newspaper Al-Mashahir. "Holding Ahli to a draw away from home would be a very good result to us but we must know how to stop their key players. "The problem is that Ahli have many starts, led by playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, but we will try to deal with them all," he added. Hilal have eliminated Ahli's arch-rivals Zamalek in the Champions League round of 32, but Ricardo does not seem to be hoping for another Egyptian upset. "If Hilal occupied second place in the group and reached the semis then we will have a good chance to play in the final," he concluded.
