Ismaili striker Mohamed Fadl has been declared fit to participate in Egypt's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritania on Sunday. Egypt doctor Ahmed Maged said that Fadl has recovered from a stomach injury and is ready to take part in the match. Tuesday's training session in Shooting Club witnessed a complete squad after the European-based players linked up with their local teammates, with the exception of Hossam Ghaly. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder accompanied his fiancée who was ill and had to be taken to hospital. Egypt are on top of Group B with seven points, three ahead of second-placed Botswana while Mauritania and Burundi lie third and fourth respectively with three points.
