Second division sides Al-Etisalat and Al-Alamunium have booked their place in the top flight on Wednesday. Al-Etisalat, coached by former Zamalek midfielder Tarek Yehia, booked their place in the Egyptian Premier League for the first time ever when they beat Al-Sekka Al-Hadid 1-0. With one round left in the Greater Cairo subdivision, Etisalat are four points ahead of second place Ittihad Al-Shorta. In the Upper Egypt subdivision, Alamunium booked their first division place after holding Al-Gouna to a goalless draw to finish in first place. The two sides join Baladeyat Al-Mahalla who were the first to qualify for the top flight this season.
