Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri rebuffed rumors indicating that midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika suffered an injury setback during the team's training session on Thursday. The talented playmaker pulled out of training amid reports that he has aggravated his groin injury. "Abou-Treika is fully fit, he just feared the injury would strike him again so he opted not to continue the training session," Al-Badri told FilGoal.com. The Egypt international playmaker initially sustained the injury in an Egyptian League game against Asyut Petroleum last January. Whilst on road to recovery, Abou-Treika suffered a setback in training last month. Meanwhile, Ahli technical staff has fined stand-in goalkeeper Amir Abdul-Hamid 5,000 EGP after he arrived late on Thursday and wasn't serious enough during training, according to the club's official website.
